The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves as the clinical supervisor for all Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The BCBA conducts functional behavioral analysis, generates related behavioral plans, and ensures the effective implementation of all treatment and programming for clients on their caseload. As a primary function, the BCBA is responsible for the training & supervision of direct care staff to ensure effective implementation of the behavioral plan, as well as all relevant policies and procedures. The BCBA is responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as demonstrating sound professional judgment at all times. Collaboration with family, caregivers, and all service providers is necessary to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise individualized ABA programs for clients in home, community, group home, and/or school settings.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and recommend positive behavior supports for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related disorders.
  • Provide direct instruction, training, and support to client and family members during regularly scheduled visits.

  • Ensure that all treatment methodologies are evidence-based and reflect the most recent research findings.
  • Effectively manage caseload, prepare and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Other related tasks as needed.
