Job description

Burnout should not be an expectation of being a BCBA.

You chose this field to make a meaningful difference—not to spend every evening catching up on treatment plans, documentation, and emails.

We believe exceptional clinical care starts with supporting the clinicians providing it. That means creating an environment where BCBAs have manageable caseloads, realistic expectations, strong team support, and the ability to maintain a healthy life outside of work.

We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who wants to provide high-quality, individualized ABA services while working for an organization that values both client outcomes and clinician well-being.

What You Can Expect

Our goal is to create a BCBA role that is meaningful without being unsustainable.

You can expect:

  • Manageable caseloads designed to allow you to provide quality clinical oversight rather than simply manage volume- 20-25 billable hours weekly.
  • Work-life balance with expectations that respect your personal time.
  • Flexible scheduling that allows greater control over your workday.
  • Supportive leadership that understands the clinical demands placed on BCBAs.
  • Collaborative teams so you are not expected to handle every challenge alone.
  • Time to provide meaningful supervision, caregiver training, treatment planning, and clinical oversight.
  • An organizational culture focused on quality of care rather than quantity of cases.
  • Opportunities for continued professional development and growth.
  • A compassionate, individualized approach to ABA that recognizes the needs of the whole person.

Because being committed to your clients should not require sacrificing yourself.

We want our BCBAs to build careers they can sustain. When clinicians have the time, resources, and support they need, they can be present for their clients, lead their teams effectively, and provide the thoughtful clinical care our families deserve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assessment and Evaluation

Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments using direct observation, caregiver/client interviews, record review, and other appropriate assessment methods. Interpret assessment results to develop and refine individualized, meaningful treatment plans.

Individualized Program Development

Design, implement, monitor, and modify ABA-based programs targeting communication, social, adaptive living, independence, and other clinically significant skills. Interventions should be individualized according to each client’s strengths, needs, preferences, and goals.

Data Analysis and Clinical Decision-Making

Review and analyze behavioral and skill-acquisition data to evaluate treatment effectiveness. Make timely, data-informed modifications to programming to support meaningful client progress.

Client and Caregiver Collaboration

Develop collaborative relationships with clients, families, and caregivers. Provide education, training, and support to promote consistency and generalization of meaningful skills across home, community, and other relevant environments.

Team Leadership and Supervision

Provide effective clinical supervision, training, feedback, and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other members of the treatment team. Promote compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based implementation of behavioral services.

Documentation and Compliance

Complete treatment plans, progress reports, clinical documentation, authorization materials, and other required records accurately and within established timelines. Ensure services comply with applicable ethical, professional, payer, and regulatory requirements.

Consultation and Coordination of Care

Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, caregivers, community providers, and other members of the client’s support team when appropriate to promote coordinated and comprehensive care.

Professional Development

Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and developments within behavior analysis through continuing education, professional literature, workshops, conferences, and other learning opportunities.

Advocacy and Education

Promote understanding of compassionate and evidence-based ABA practices. Provide education and training to caregivers, staff, educators, and community partners as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred. Bachelors degree required.
  • Current and active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificationMeaningful Work. Manageable Caseloads. A Career You Can Sustain.
