Job summary

Applied ABC is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide school-based behavioral support services for a student within Prince George's County Public Schools, Maryland.

Services will be provided on an as-needed basis and may include direct and indirect support, behavioral observations, consultation, staff and parent training, coordination of care, participation in school team meetings (including IEP meetings), behavior support plan development and review, program material

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field.
• BCBA certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing ABA therapy, preferably in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs to identify the function of challenging behaviors.
• Develop and implement BIPs based on FBA results.
• Provide direct ABA therapy to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure consistent implementation of BIPs.
• Train school staff on ABA principles and strategies.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Prince George's County Public Schools, MD

Location: Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS), Maryland (Greenbelt)

Schedule: Part-time / Per Diem. Hours will be scheduled directly with the school team based on student needs, meetings, observations, and support requirements.

Payment: $80 - $90 per hour

Brief Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide school-based behavioral support services for a student within Prince George's County Public Schools. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis and may include direct and indirect support, behavioral observations, consultation, staff and parent training, coordination of care, participation in school team meetings (including IEP meetings), behavior support plan development and review, program material creation, assessments, treatment planning, data analysis, progress monitoring, and ongoing behavioral recommendations.

Client Needs

The BCBA will support a student requiring behavioral consultation and intervention services within the school setting. Responsibilities may include collaborating with school personnel, reviewing and analyzing behavioral data, providing training and coaching to staff, developing or updating behavior intervention strategies, and ensuring consistency of implementation across the student's educational team.

Ideal Candidate

• Active BCBA certification in good standing
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong collaboration and consultation skills
• Experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Ability to work independently and coordinate directly with school teams
• Comfortable providing both direct and consultative behavioral support services as needed by the district and student team
