Job summary

Action Behavior Centers in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design and oversee ABA therapy for children with autism. The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians, collaborating closely with families and school teams.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) located in Austin, TX. The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and oversee the delivery of ABA therapy tailored to each child’s needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and coaching Registered Behavior Technicians, modeling compassionate, evidence-based interventions, and monitoring progress through data collection and analysis. The BCBA will collaborate closely with families through parent training, provide regular updates on treatment goals, and support school readiness and transition planning as needed. The role also involves participating in clinical team meetings, engaging in ongoing professional development, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive, and high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and master’s degree in ABA, psychology, education, or a related field.
• Strong clinical skills in functional assessment, individualized treatment planning, and implementation of evidence-based ABA interventions.
• Experience supervising, training, and providing performance feedback to behavior technicians or clinical support staff.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary clinical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to collect, interpret, and use behavioral data to guide decision-making and adjust treatment plans.
• Commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care for neurodiverse children and their families.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Previous experience in center-based ABA therapy, early intervention, or autism services is highly beneficial.
