Job summary

Fun Play ABA Therapy Services seeks a dedicated BCaBA to support design and implementation of ABA treatment plans in a center-based Cypress, TX setting. You will supervise RBTs, collect data, and coordinate with BCBA/QBA oversight to ensure client progress and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, supervising staff, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team to promote skill acquisition and safety in a warm, structured environment.

Qualifications

  • Active BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder preferred.
  • Working knowledge of assessment tools (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA, etc.).
  • Strong clinical writing skills for session notes and progress documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with families, technicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage an assigned caseload within a clinic-based service delivery model.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with clinical documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and updates to treatment plans.
  • Ensure services comply with BACB ethical guidelines, payer requirements, and clinic protocols.
  • Collaborate with speech and occupational therapists and other team members.
  • Respond to behavioral emergencies following safety protocols.
  • Maintain a safe, engaging clinic environment.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to support the design and implementation of individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA/QBA. This in-clinic role involves conducting skill assessments, assisting with treatment plan development, supervising and training Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and collecting and analyzing behavioral data to support each client's progress.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA) under the supervision of a BCBA/QBA
  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of individualized treatment plans, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals
  • Provide direct, in-clinic supervision, coaching, and training to RBTs and behavior technicians
  • Assist in the design and implementation of behavior intervention plans, including antecedent strategies and reinforcement procedures
  • Collect, graph, and analyze behavioral data; flag trends or concerns to the supervising BCBA/QBA
  • Support caregiver training sessions to promote skill generalization across settings
  • Assist with clinical documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and treatment plan updates
  • Ensure services are delivered in compliance with BACB ethical guidelines, payer requirements, and clinic protocols
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the client's care team
  • Respond appropriately to behavioral emergencies within the clinic, following established safety protocols
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and structured clinic environment for clients and staff
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Provides day-to-day oversight, coaching, and performance feedback to assigned RBTs/behavior technicians
  • Works under the required supervision of a BCBA/QBA per BACB standards
Qualifications
  • Active BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to actively engage with clients on the floor, including sitting, kneeling, and moving quickly if needed for safety
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed for safety interventions
  • Ability to remain on-site for full clinic shifts
Work Environment
  • In-clinic (center-based) position requiring on-site presence at the Cypress, TX 77429 location
  • Standard clinic hours, Monday–Friday 8a -4:30pm
