Job summary

St. Louis Arc in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through person-centered, evidence-based practices.

This full-time, exempt position offers a predictable daytime schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative team. You will design and implement behavior support plans, participate in planning meetings, observe behavior, and develop data-driven reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field or a degree with 225 ABA coursework
• Current BCaBA Certification
• Current Missouri Licensure as an Assistant Behavior Analyst
• Two years of experience with adults with IDD
• Experience supervising and implementing behavior plans preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and implement behavior support plans to reduce challenging behaviors
• Participate in person-centered planning and treatment team meetings
• Observe behavior and complete initial assessments and track progress
• Develop and deliver staff training on plans and evidence-based strategies
• Provide clinical supervision to RBTs as required
• Determine data needs and reporting mechanisms for staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for progress and plan adjustments
• Conduct in-service trainings to enhance staff understanding
• Provide documentation and reports per requirements

The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is a full-time, salaried/exempt position starting at $60,000 annually with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

What You Will Do

• Design and implementbehavior support plans that enhance adaptive behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors resulting in socially significant consequences for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Participatein person centered planning and/or treatment team meetings to develop,reviewand update individual plans
• Observeindividual behavior and completeinitial behavioral assessments; determineindividual’s progress towards goals and modifybehavior support plans as needed
• Develop and deliver training for staff, caregivers, families, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) on behavior support plans and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Provide clinical supervision to RBTs in accordance with agency, state, funder, BACB, and federal requirements.
• Determine data needs; developreporting mechanisms for staff use in recording and reporting individual’s behavior
• Collaboratewith interdisciplinary team to assess individual’s behavior, monitor individual’s progress, and adjust behavior plans as needed
• Conductin-service training and workshops which enhance staff and caregiver understanding and ability to provide active habilitation and effective behavioral programming
• Provide documentation and reports in accordance with agency, funder, professional, state, and federal requirements

• Support meaningful clinical outcomes through a manageable caseload with 20 billable hours per week
• Focus on what you do best—providing clinical expertise and support. BCBAs provide clinical supervision to RBTs on their caseload but do not manage staff. Non-clinical supervision responsibilities are handled by leadership, allowing you to focus on outcomes
• Receive support maintaining your BCBA certification through access to continuing education opportunities, including local conferences, trainings, and professional development events
• Mandt and CPR/First Aid training provided by the St. Louis Arc at no cost

• Bachelors Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field or Bachelors Degree in another field with the completion of 225 hours of coursework in a Behavior Analysis curriculum
• Current Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Certification
• Current Missouri Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst
• Two years of experience working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Experience supervising and implementing behavior plans preferred
