Job summary

St. Louis Arc is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time, salaried role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and the chance to contribute to person-centered, evidence-based practices.

You will design behavior plans, supervise RBTs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while maintaining compliance with BACB and state requirements. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Current BCBA Certification.
• Current Missouri Licensed Behavior Analyst.
• Two years of experience with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Experience supervising and implementing behavior plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement behavior support plans to improve adaptive behaviors.
• Participate in person-centered planning and treatment team meetings.
• Observe behavior and complete initial assessments; modify plans as needed.
• Develop and deliver staff training on behavior plans and interventions.
• Provide clinical supervision to RBTs per requirements.
• Determine data needs; create reporting for staff use.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Conduct in-service trainings to enhance staff understanding.
• Provide documentation and reports per requirements.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a full-time, salaried/exempt position earning $75,000 annually with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

What You Will Do

• Design and implementâ¯behavior support plans that enhance adaptive behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors resulting in socially significant consequences for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Participateâ¯in person centered planning and/or treatment team meetings to develop,â¯reviewâ¯and update individual plansâ¯
• Observeâ¯individual behavior and completeâ¯initial behavioral assessments; determineâ¯individual’s progress towards goals and modifyâ¯behavior support plans as neededâ¯
• Develop and deliver training for staff, caregivers, families, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) on behavior support plans and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Provide clinical supervision to RBTs in accordance with agency, state, funder, BACB, and federal requirements.
• Determine data needs; develop–reporting mechanisms for staff use in recording and reporting individual’s behaviorâ¯
• Collaborate–with interdisciplinary team to assess individual’s behavior, monitor individual’s progress, and adjust behavior plans as needed–
• Conduct–in-service training and workshops which enhance staff and caregiver understanding and ability to provide active habilitation and effective behavioral programmingâ–
• Provide documentation and reports in accordance with agency, funder, professional, state, and federal requirements

• Support meaningful clinical outcomes through a manageable caseload with 20 billable hours per week
• Focus on what you do best—providing clinical expertise and support. BCBAs provide clinical supervision to RBTs on their caseload but do not manage staff. Non-clinical supervision responsibilities are handled by leadership, allowing you to focus on outcomes
• Receive support maintaining your BCBA certification through access to continuing education opportunities, including local conferences, trainings, and professional development events
• Mandt and CPR/First Aid training provided by the St. Louis Arc at no cost
