Job summary

Ivy ABA in Virginia Beach is seeking a Pediatric Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to lead the ABA program within a clinic, overseeing a team of behavior technicians and collaborating with speech-language, occupational, and physical therapists to deliver integrated care for children with autism.

You will carry a caseload of 8-12 clients, design individualized treatment plans, coach staff and empower families with ABA strategies to extend progress at home, with opportunities for equity partnership

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification required.
• Experience designing individualized treatment plans including skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Experience supervising technicians to implement plans.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 8-12 patients with supervision from Ivy ABA leadership.
• Lead a clinic-based team of behavior technicians and coordinate with other therapists.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans and guide caregivers in ABA strategies.
• Coordinate care as part of an interdisciplinary care team for clients receiving related therapies.

Our goal is to work on what's most important to the child and their support system by creating an individualized pediatric treatment program tailored to their needs. Whether it's working on communication, social skills, aggression, non-compliance, self-help skills, play, academics, or fine and gross motor skills, we always address the specific concerns for each patient. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can carry skills and home exercises into their child's daily life.
