Job summary

Acadian Foodservice in Lafayette is seeking a Boar's Head Demonstrator and Merchandiser. This part-time, on-the-road role requires Friday, Saturday and Sunday work, performing product demonstrations, engaging customers, and promoting Boar's Head brands at events to drive interest and sales.

You will set up and tear down displays, rotate stock per FIFO, complete merchandising resets, and collaborate with deli management and the sales team to identify opportunities and build lasting customer

Qualifications

• Grocery, supermarket, and/or deli experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

*NOTE: THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE, REQUIRING YOU TO WORK FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY*As a Demonstrator, you will have the opportunity to showcase the Boar's Head Brand to potential customers, create excitement and generate interest. You will play a vital role in promoting our products and driving sales.We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, energetic and passionate about Boar's Head. If you enjoy interacting with people, have excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this position is perfect for you.

Demonstrator Duties ~ Will be done Sun-Sat

• Conduct product demonstrations at various events and locations
• Engage with potential customers and provide information about the product
• Showcase product features and benefits in an engaging and persuasive manner
• Setup and teardown

Merchandiser Duties ~ Will be done on Fridays

• Complete merchandising resets, rotate product according to FIFO, fill displays, check price tags.
• Complete check-up missions showcasing work done.
• Communicate with sales team any opportunities.
• Continuously cultivate relationships with customers by actively engaging with deli management and personnel to understand their customer base, evolving product or training needs and specific opportunities/challenges.

Experience

• Grocery, supermarket, and/or deli experience is preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate and engage with a diverse audience
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Experience in food service or product demos is a plus
