Job summary

LAZ Parking is hiring an Airport Lot Attendant at Nashville’s BNA location. The successful candidate will perform janitorial duties for garages and surface lots, ensuring daily cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere for customers and clients. The role emphasizes honesty, integrity, and strong communication.

Previous customer service experience is preferred. Full-time position from 2pm to 10pm with paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Greeting customers by name and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Completing required paperwork and reports to account for parking revenues.
• Assisting customers in lobbies and directing traffic as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming parking location.
• Following LAZ Parking policies and wearing the provided uniform.

Responsibilities

• Greet by name, respond promptly to inquiries, and build rapport with customers.
• Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately for revenue accounting.
• Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and parking office; direct traffic.
• Deliver premier customer service with a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Keep the location clean; sweep, wipe surfaces, empty trash, tidy areas.
• Maintain and repair malfunctioning parking equipment as needed.
• Be in uniform, on time, and ready to work as scheduled.
• Work with supervision and follow directions from managers.
• Inform individuals loitering to move on or call non-emergency services.
• Ensure safety and address hazardous conditions promptly.

The Spirit of the Position:

The Lot Attendant is responsible for all janitorial responsibilities for garages and surface lots ensuring they are maintained and cleaned daily. The Lot Attendant will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. This Lot Attendant will greet the public in a manner consistent with the LAZ Way, serving as a representative displaying honesty, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
• Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and efficiently to account for any and all collected parking revenues.
• Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office; help direct traffic.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to always help.
• Keep the parking location clean – sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash etc.
• Maintain and repair any malfunctioning parking equipment to ensure appropriate access to customers.
• Be in correct LAZ Parking uniform, on time, and ready to work when scheduled.
• Work with and without supervision and follow directions of supervisors when requests are made.
• Inform all people loitering to move off property or call a non-emergency number for police support.
• Make sure the location is safe and take care of any potentially hazardous conditions
• Other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
