Stanford Cancer Institute’s Clinical Trials Office seeks a Clinical Research Manager 1 for BMT Oncology. The role supports trials from protocol development to regulatory submissions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at Stanford University.

Hybrid work arrangements are available. The candidate will lead study coordination, ensure protocol adherence, train staff, and coordinate IRB submissions while managing budgets and sponsor communications.

Formación

• Clinical research certification is required or preferred.
• Experience in oncology, specifically bone marrow transplantation (BMT), is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership and staff management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Hire, orient, train, and conduct performance reviews for staff handling research administration for clinical trials.
• Supervise adherence to study protocols; educate staff on policies and procedures.
• Coordinate protocol submissions, renewals, and IRB filings for multiple studies.
• Audit laboratory and clinical trial procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee financial resources, budgets, and sponsor communications as needed.
• Lead or chair committees to address issues arising from research activities.
• Engage in outreach and represent the program to internal and external audiences.
• Analyze recruitment trends and advise on trial options and physician compliance.
• Assist in data analysis and preparation of manuscripts and presentations.
• Ensure timely reporting to IRB, FDA, and other regulatory bodies.
