Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for the Adult BMT service. This role provides leadership in clinical pharmacy, partnering with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and ambulatory settings, and serving as a therapeutic resource for pharmacotherapy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy; Oncology experience preferred.
• NYS license (or eligibility).
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency and an ASHP-accredited oncology residency, or equivalent experience; BCOP certified/eligible.

Responsibilities

• Design and monitor drug therapy; provide patient medication counseling; participate in Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM).
• Participate in committee activities and develop treatment guidelines and pharmacy policies.
• Precept PGY2 residents and pharmacy students.
• Educate hospital staff through Grand Rounds and in-service trainings.
