Job summary

CATK is seeking a Building Management System Engineer to join our US team. You will build, integrate, and maintain BMS, wiring HVAC, utility equipment, fire alarm, and security into centralized control systems for enhanced performance and energy savings.

You will lead and mentor a diverse team, develop SOPs, and troubleshoot PLC/BMS issues across sites, with in-person attendance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in building system management and integration.
• Well-versed in BMS systems, components, and integration techniques.
• Proficiency in BMS software and programming.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule.
• Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position.
• Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction and integration of BMS, integrating HVAC, utility equipment, fire alarm, security, and other building systems.
• Monitor and adjust system settings to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BMS-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Develop and enforce policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide leadership to a diverse team, offering guidance, training, and technical support to facility staff.
• Evaluate and implement upgrades and enhancements to improve BMS functionality and efficiency.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for BMS management and operations.
• Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
