Job summary

Vanguard Maintenance & Electrical, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team focused on low-voltage BMS installations. We do not perform standard power and lighting work.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of electrical experience, be reliable, and eager to learn. Travel to various sites within the city and surrounding areas is required; strong communication and time management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical work experience.
• Willing to travel to various locations within cities and surrounding areas.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Detail oriented with a great attitude.
• Must be able to lift and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install 3/4" and 1" conduit and bend with a hand bender.
• Rough in low-voltage cabling for controls and systems.
• Terminate low-voltage cabling in control panels and rooms.
• Daily check-ins with foreman to monitor project status.

Technical Skills/Duties & Responsibilities Include...

• Knowledge of BMS control system installation
• Knowledge of additional low-voltage systems is a plus* (e.g., fire alarm, access control, AV, Telecom/Data)
• Daily/Weekly check-ins to monitor project status with foreman
