Vanguard Maintenance & Electrical, Inc. in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX is hiring a BMS Controls & Low Voltage Electrical Apprentice/Helper. No experience required; you will learn from seasoned installers and mentors while contributing to hospital, educational, and infrastructure projects.

You will assist with cabling, learn under supervision, and develop foundational skills in BMS systems. A strong work ethic, reliability, and safety focus are essential for success in this hands-on apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required—we hire for character and train for skill.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Basic familiarity with hand tools is a plus.
• OSHA10 certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license (required).

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced installers with BMS controls and low voltage cabling installation.
• Learn thoroughly and pull low voltage cabling under supervision.
• Support termination of cabling in control panels and enclosures.
• Help identify and handle low voltage equipment and materials correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and site-specific protocols.
