Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking a BMS Architect – AUTOSAR BSW Development in Auburn Hills, MI to define and guide AUTOSAR-based BMS software architecture for high-voltage battery functions. You will own BSW integration and ECU architecture while aligning with safety and cybersecurity standards.

You will collaborate across system engineering, hardware, and platform software teams to deliver a production-ready BMS solution with strong technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven AUTOSAR Classic Platform experience focusing on BSW and ECUs.
• Strong embedded C programming and MCU architectures knowledge.
• Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety concepts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface with OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the AUTOSAR-based BMS ECU software architecture (BSW and CDD).
• Own BSW configuration and integration (MCAL, ECU Abstraction, Services, Communication stack).
• Ensure designs meet ISO 26262 ASILD requirements.
• Participate in safety artifacts: FMEDA and safety concepts.
• Collaborate on cybersecurity requirements per ISO 21434.
• Provide technical direction to AUTOSAR BSW developers and integrators.
• Serve as liaison with OEMs, Tier-1s, AUTOSAR vendors, and toolchain providers.
