Job summary

Texas Instruments in Dallas seeks an experienced software applications engineer leader to oversee the design, integration, and validation of Complex Device Drivers (CDDs) for AUTOSAR-based BSW integration. The role includes acting as the primary technical contact for customer ramp and software troubleshooting.

You will guide requirements, ensure BMS features meet safety standards (ISO26262) and ASPICE, and provide technical leadership while mentoring a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Lead design, integration and validation of Complex Device Drivers (CDDs) into AUTOSAR systems.
• Ensure BMS features are integrated into AUTOSAR BSW per ISO26262.
• Provide technical leadership, debugging and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Customer software support & requirements management: collaborate with customers to define requirements for CDD development.
• BMP device CDD integration into customer system with AUTOSAR BSW, MCAL drivers, OS, and RTE.
• CDD verification to enable scalable system architectures for customer use-cases.
• Technical leadership & debugging: lead issue analysis and root cause debugging.
• Compliance & Safety: ensure ASPICE and ISO26262 safety standards compliance.
• Collaterals & documentation: work with Systems and Marketing to deliver system solutions and maintain documentation; people management.
