Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in electronics/biomedical engineering technology or equivalent BMET training with documented experience.
• Demonstrates basic understanding of electronic/mechanical devices and patient care equipment.
• Familiar with regulatory and safety standards and ability to follow manufacturer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate medical devices for preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot devices in clinical or bench settings.
• Install and inspect new equipment prior to use.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory processes (CMS, FDA GMP, NJDOH).
• Maintain and document maintenance records; manage device networks and inventory.
