Title: Systems Test Engineer
Type: Full Time
Location: San Diego, CA

Overview

Primary function is to system test the protocol and performance aspects of Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) and Wireless Charging.

Responsibilities

• Candidate will be involved in system test planning & execution, log analysis & debugging of Bluetooth, Low Energy system solutions.
• Work with Software and Systems engineers to optimize QCT solutions for various performance metrics like stability, system latency, throughput, audio quality and related algorithms.
• Responsible for any field test and inter-operability test activities, attending industry test events and interfacing with standard setting bodies.

Qualifications

• Good fundamental understanding of wireless digital communication systems and RF system technology.
• Flexible about job assignments, detail oriented and have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork and good inter-personal skills are a must.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ and Java is desired.
• Familiarity with OS environments such as Linux, Windows, Android is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Bluetooth/Low Energy (LE) system and prior test experience.
• Understanding of the wireless charging systems.

Education

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
