Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a Weiler weld test.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Lays out, fits and welds components per blueprints and specifications.
• Welds in various positions per welding procedure specifications.
• Sets up equipment, jigs, fixtures and cutting torches safely.
• Finish grinding and surface prep using manual/power tools.
• Repair/dismantle and re-weld as needed.
• Operate plasma arc-cutting torch and carbon air arc gouging tool.
• Read measuring devices such as tape measure, fillet gauge, level and square.
