Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of structural fitting experience in a fabrication or industrial setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings accurately.
• Proficient with measuring tools and layout techniques.
• Experience with hand and power tools and oxy-fuel cutting.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Lay out, fit, align, and assemble structural steel components.
• Measure, mark, and position materials using hand and power tools.
• Tack weld components before final welding.
• Operate grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment safely.
• Inspect fitted assemblies for correct dimensions and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety policies.
