Job summary

H2ajobs in Florida is seeking farm workers to pick, pack, sort, and harvest blueberries, with duties including cleaning containers and sanitation. Job description

Pick, pack, sort, grade, and carry blueberries to the trailer for loading and unloading. Clean and sanitize picking containers, and perform farm, field, and shed sanitation duties. Load and unload products into trucks. Perform daily agricultural harvesting tasks as needed, such as weeding, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash. Perform seasonal agricultural field preparation such as spraying, plant sorting, reconditioning the soil, replanting, and mulching.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Residences contain free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities. The kitchen facilities are in working condition and can be used by the workers to sufficiently prepare three (3) meals per day. The residences contain necessary equipment appliances for meal preparation including refrigeration, cooking accessories, and dishwashing facilities (adequate sinks with hot and cold water).

Employer will have transportation available for the workers who reside in the employer's housing, at no cost to the worker, at least once per week to drive the workers to the nearest grocery store from the residences and bring them back to the residences with groceries. A licensed driver, employee of employer will use a minivan or full-sized van registered to the employer, seating 7-15 passengers at a time, to bring the respective workers to get their groceries, and return them to the residences following the shopping.

Transport: Employer will transport workers who reside in the employer's housing to the worksite and to the residence from the worksite at no cost to worker. A licensed driver, employee of employer, will use a minivan or full sized van registered to employer, seating 7-15 passengers at a time, to bring workers to and from the worksite. Employer provided transport will comply with all applicable local, State, and Federal laws or regs. Vehicle insurance provides coverage for travel not covered by workers comp

The reason for the drug test is the need to use various tools for ground maintenance and the need for sobriety to ensure the safety of all workers. The crimes that disqualify an applicant are theft, violence, and drug charges.
