Senior Business Systems Analyst – Blue Yonder WMS

Location: Frisco, TX

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Blue Yonder WMS to serve as the primary functional and technical expert for its warehouse management platform.

This role will support and enhance a large-scale Blue Yonder WMS environment while partnering closely with Operations, IT, Infrastructure, Security, and external vendors. The position combines business analysis, production support, technical development, application security, integrations, and warehouse process optimization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Blue Yonder professional who can support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot complex issues, build technical solutions, and help shape the future roadmap for warehouse technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support Blue Yonder / JDA WMS.
• Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Support receiving, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, labor, task management, and RF workflows.
• Evaluate configuration versus customization options for new enhancements.
• Support modernization and future cloud / SaaS initiatives.

Production & User Support

• Provide Tier III functional and technical support for WMS users.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, RF device, scanner, printer, and performance issues.
• Analyze logs, database activity, interfaces, and application errors.
• Create support documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials.
• Partner with warehouse users to improve system adoption and operational efficiency.

Development & Integrations

• Develop and maintain solutions using:
• MOCA
• MOCASQL
• SQL / T-SQL
• DDA Page Builder
• Support integrations between WMS, ERP, transportation, automation, reporting, and other enterprise systems.
• Participate in testing, releases, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Security & Governance

• Support user access, role administration, and application security controls.
• Partner with Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams on secure application operations.
• Support audit readiness, compliance, change management, and release governance.
• Maintain secure development and deployment practices.

Business Partnership

• Work closely with Operations, IT leadership, Project Managers, Infrastructure, Development, and external vendors.
• Lead requirements gathering and solution design discussions.
• Create functional specifications, technical documentation, test plans, and implementation materials.
• Drive process improvement and standardization across warehouse technology.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Blue Yonder / JDA WMS experience.
• Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Blue Yonder WMS.
• Advanced SQL / T-SQL skills.
• Experience with:
• MOCA
• MOCASQL
• DDA Page Builder
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with ERP and WMS integrations.
• Knowledge of application security, user access, and role management.
• Experience with RF handhelds, scanners, printers, and warehouse hardware.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across both technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Blue Yonder SaaS or cloud migration initiatives.
• REST and SOAP API experience.
• Azure DevOps, source control, or release management experience.
• Background in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
