Job summary

Synerfac Inc. in Cherry Hill is seeking a Blue Seal Boiler Operator to manage the operation and maintenance of boilers and related equipment in the Boiler Room, ensuring a safe, healthy environment for staff and visitors.

The role requires a NJ Blue Seal steam license (or a High Pressure black seal with intent to obtain NJ Blue within a year), plus solid knowledge of NJAC 12:90 boiler code, and adherence to safety regulations; you will perform preventive maintenance, log readings, and monitor

Qualifications

• NJ Blue seal steam license required; willing to obtain NJ Blue within one year if only high-pressure license held.
• Working knowledge of NJ Administrative Code 12:90 boiler, pressure vessels, and refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, support systems, and a 4 MW cogeneration unit safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete repairs as directed.
• Maintain operating logs, test boiler water, perform monthly generator no-load tests, and report malfunctions.
• Follow New Jersey Administrative Code and safety regulations, maintain clean work areas, and monitor supply levels.
