Job summary

SEEC Brand is seeking Boiler Operators to manage Firetube and Watertube boiler rooms and cogeneration operations in New Jersey. You will diagnose malfunctions, coordinate with maintenance, perform LWCO testing and blowdowns, and be trained across multiple boiler rooms.

Willingness to travel between sites and cover nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Flexibility to work at one site or multiple locations is expected, with potential travel to other facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Firetube and Watertube boilers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler malfunctions with maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of New Jersey boiler regulations and controls.
• Perform LWCO testing and blowdowns.
• Train across multiple boiler rooms.

Responsibilities

• Operate Firetube and Watertube boilers and cogeneration equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler issues with maintenance teams.

Looking for Boiler Operators with the following:

• Well versed in bother Firetube and Watertube boiler and cogeneration operations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions or abnormalities in boiler systems, coordinating with maintenance teams for effective solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of boiler systems, controls, and associated equipment in accordance with New Jersey regulations.
• Perform Low Water Cut Off (LWCO) testing and all blowdowns.
• Train in and for all aspects of multiple boiler rooms in order to perform operations.
• The ability to work all shifts (nights, weekends, and holidays) and be available for last minute coverage.
• The position could be for one site or multiple, so flexibility and a "road warrior" mindset to travel from site to site would be beneficial.
