Frank Productions, LLC is seeking a part-time Security team member to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at the Blue Note and Rose Music Hall venues in Columbia, MO.

Starting at $20 per hour, the role includes monitoring ingress/egress, coordinating with staff, and following Emergency Action Plans and SOPs. Background check is required, and you should be comfortable working in a busy, high-noise venue.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff and patrons

• Identify any issues or threats within the venue and report concerns to venue management
• Respond to security and safety needs in a timely manner
• Communicate clearly with staff, patrons, vendors and clients about day-of-event needs
• Maintain an understanding of the venue Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow accordingly
• Assist with opening and closing tasks of the relevant building
• Follow company protocol for the relevant building as communicated by venue management
• All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Performs duties while standing and walking, including ascending and descending stairs
• Utilization of hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment
• Lifts up to 50 pounds
• Crouches, kneels, bends, and reaches frequently
• Regularly exposed to large crowds and high volumes of noise
• Regularly exposed to lighting changes including low lit areas, strobe lights, and moving lights
• Occasionally works in outdoor conditions
• Requires extended work hours
