Job summary

Morton Industries is seeking a Bluco Operator to fabricate and assemble metal components using Bluco fixturing tables. You will interpret blueprints, determine assembly order, position and secure parts, and perform tack and finish welding using GMAW/MIG and GTAW/TIG to meet customer specs.

Responsibilities include verifying dimensions with inspection tools, maintaining quality, and ensuring safety in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to read dimensions and use inspection tools.
• Experience with Bluco or similar fixturing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine assembly sequence.
• Set up Bluco fixturing tables for small-lot work.
• Position, clamp, and secure components per blueprint.
• Weld and finish assemblies using GMAW/MIG and GTAW/TIG.
• Inspect work for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain safe and clean work area.
