Job summary

The Pfister Hotel, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Barback/Porter for its Blu team in Milwaukee. You will support bartenders by stocking, preparing garnishes, and maintaining bar cleanliness to ensure seamless service for guests in a premier rooftop lounge.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of beverage service operations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, knives, and bar tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport beverage orders from storeroom to Blu.
• Verify products against requisitions and confirm with bartenders.
• Stock and organize beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Prepare garnishes and juices according to projected business levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas and storage spaces.
• Assist with stocking napkins, straws, and glassware and box empty bottles for returns.
