Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia-Pacific company, seeks a Quality Coordinator II at the Marmaduke, AR facility. You will ensure quality, safety and conformance of PVC blown-film products through line audits, testing, data analysis and disposition of nonconforming material.

The role requires advanced knowledge of the blown-film process and the ability to recognize defects such as wrinkles, haze, gauge variation, edge hang, gels, incorrect width, contamination, holes, and winding defects.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of quality experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience identifying defects in products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine line audits and inspect film, rolls, packaging, labels, and traceability information against current specifications and standards.
• Recognize and evaluate blown-film defects such as wrinkles, haze, gauge variation, edge hang, gels, incorrect width, and contamination.
• Perform film-weight, gauge, width, cling, appearance, and roll-condition checks using approved methods and calibrated equipment.
• Identify affected production, place suspect rolls on hold, maintain traceability, and recommend disposition.
• Work with operators and quality leadership to relate defect patterns to process conditions and material variations.
• Create and maintain SPC records for film weight, gauge, width, cling, defect trends, and holds.
• Prepare written and verbal summaries of findings and escalate safety or contamination concerns.
• Document inspection results and hold/disposition activity in quality systems and train new staff.
• Frequent travel between Marmaduke, Jonesboro and Paragould using personal vehicle.
