Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a Blowmold Operator to operate plastic blow molding machines safely and efficiently, producing containers per company policies. You will monitor lines, perform minor repairs, and train others in blowmold operations.

The role requires teamwork, accurate record keeping, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment. Certification may be required during employment, with emphasis on GMPs and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
• Operate bagger and debagger stations.
• Troubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blowmold equipment.
• Train others on blowmold operations.
• Maintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency.
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs.
• Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
• Utilize continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

OUR BLOWMOLD OPERATOR CAN MAKE UP TO: $23.16 per hour

Operate plastic blow molding machines to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner according to established company policies and procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles
