Job summary

Dairy Challenge in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Blowmold Operator to run plastic blow molding machines, ensuring safe, efficient production of containers and compliance with GMP and SOPs.

The role involves monitoring lines, operating bagger/debagger stations, training others, analyzing data, and contributing to continuous improvements while maintaining food safety and health regulations. DOE and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse or production experience preferred.
• Certification or license may be required during employment.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles
• Operate bagger and debagger stations
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blowmold equipment
• Train others on blowmold operations
• Maintain communication with other departments and management
• Document information per SOPs
• Analyze process and equipment data to improve quality and throughput
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through continuous improvement
• Report food safety and quality issues to management
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations
• Follow GMPs and regulatory requirements
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job description

OUR BLOWMOLD OPERATOR CAN MAKE UP TO: $23.16 per hour

Operate plastic blow molding machines to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner according to established company policies and procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles


• Operate bagger and debagger stations


• Troubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blowmold equipment


• Train others on blowmold operations


• Maintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency


• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s


• Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot


• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes


• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately


• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues


• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred


• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
