Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Lubbock, TX, is seeking a Blowmold Operator to run plastic blow molding machines, ensuring safe, efficient production of containers in line with GMP and quality standards.

You will monitor lines, operate bagger/debagger stations, troubleshoot equipment, and train others while keeping records, analyzing process data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
• Operate bagger and debagger stations.
• Troubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blowmold equipment.
• Train others on blowmold operations.
• Maintain open communication with other departments to notify of problems and/or concerns.
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs.
• Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA GMPs and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

OUR BLOWMOLD OPERATOR CAN MAKE UP TO: $23.16 per hour

Operate plastic blow molding machines to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner according to established company policies and procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles


• Operate bagger and debagger stations


• Troubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blowmold equipment


• Train others on blowmold operations


• Maintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency


• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's


• Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot


• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes


• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately


• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues


• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
