Job summary

Highline Aftermarket seeks a Manufacturing Training Leader to develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs ensuring employees are equipped to perform safely and efficiently. The role collaborates with production leadership, HR, and safety to identify needs and maintain compliance, with a focus on Blow Molding experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Education, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a training or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTM, ATD). (Preferred)
• Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees in manufacturing operations.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions on equipment operation, safety procedures, quality standards, and production processes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans.
• Support onboarding processes and ensure smooth integration of new employees into the production environment.
• Update training materials and SOPs as processes and technologies evolve.
• Lead cross-training initiatives to build workforce flexibility and resilience.
• Monitor and report on training metrics and KPIs.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all employees.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
