Job summary

AOCUSA, part of Amalie Oil Company, is seeking a Blow Molding Technician Manager for the First Shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM EST) on-site in North Charleston, SC. This full-time role leads technicians in installation and repair of blow molding machinery.

You will design solutions, mentor staff, and bridge strategic planning with technical oversight. Expect hands-on maintenance, CMMS management, and collaboration with production to meet deadlines while ensuring safety and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

Prior experience in blow molding and plastic manufacturing.
Experience managing multiple direct reports for multiple shifts.
Strong attention to detail, ability to use hand tools, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of blow molding machinery (EBM/ISBM).
Manage CMMS and preventive maintenance scheduling.
Coordinate with toolroom for mold readiness, cleaning, and repairs.
Maintain spare parts inventory (heating bands, hydraulic valves, cylinders, PLC modules).
Train and mentor technicians in hydraulics, electronics, PLC troubleshooting.
Enforce safety rules including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE usage.
Plan maintenance windows with Production Manager to meet deadlines.
