Job summary

Jobot is partnering with an established manufacturer in Lancaster, MA to hire a Blow Mold Supervisor. This on-site, permanent role offers a base salary range of $95,000 to $125,000 plus bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

You will lead production staff, coordinate blow molding operations, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing supervision, experience in blow molding or plastics, and a track record of lean manufacturing,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing supervision or leadership.
• Experience in blow molding, plastics, injection molding, extrusion, packaging, or related environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel and promote a safe, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
• Coordinate daily blow molding operations and ensure production requirements are consistently met.
• Monitor equipment, production processes, and output while working with maintenance to address downtime and equipment issues.
• Identify production problems, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Track key production metrics and identify opportunities to improve throughput, efficiency, and quality.
• Work cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to resolve issues and improve overall plant performance.
• Ensure employees follow established safety procedures, OSHA requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while providing ongoing feedback and performance support.
• Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, staffing, and employee engagement.
• Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste and operating costs.
• Help maintain consistent production standards and support customer delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience in blow molding, plastics, injection molding, extrusion, packaging, or a related manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of production processes, scheduling, quality standards, and manufacturing systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead production teams and hold employees accountable for performance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving operational results
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production tracking/reporting systems
