Job summary

Pretium Packaging seeks a Manufacturing Maintenance Mold/Setup Technician to prepare, install, and calibrate molds and tooling for plastic extrusion or blow molding lines. You will troubleshoot issues, adjust process parameters, and maintain quality while supporting shift handoffs.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years in blow molding, strong mechanical troubleshooting, ability to lift molds, and familiarity with CMMS maintenance scheduling.

Qualifications

3–5+ years in a manufacturing environment, blow molding preferred.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift molds and perform manual tasks.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

Mold maintenance including cleaning, polishing, and lubricating molds and components.
Install, align, and remove molds for production and changeovers.
Set up blow molding equipment and adjust temperatures and settings.
Identify and fix production issues to minimize downtime.
Record production data, downtime, and material usage.
Provide technical training to team members and support shift handoffs.
