Coca-Cola Consolidated in West Memphis is seeking a Blow Mold Production Lead to support the manufacturing team on 1st shift (4:30am–5pm) in a 2-2-3 rotation. You will guide teammates, train personnel, and ensure safe, efficient production with strong adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include leading daily activities, coordinating with supervisors, managing equipment setup and changeovers, and maintaining accurate SAP records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–5 years in manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead peers and work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Job Overview

The Blow Mold Production Lead is responsible for assisting the Manufacturing Shift Manager and/or Production Supervisor(s) in all areas of Production Operations by providing support and guidance to the team, assisting with training of production personnel and processes, and maintaining the ability to provide expertise and hands‑on assistance in any area of production operations when required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Leads and directs the daily activities of production teammates to ensure the safe and successful completion of all related daily production activities and operations
• Leads pre and post shift meetings with assigned production teams
• Verifies and ensures all applicable production processes are followed including, but not limited to, the processes for handling the daily reconciliation of production counts in SAP and D4A., while handling any specific areas of responsibility as assigned by the Manufacturing Shift Manager and, or Production Supervisor(s)
• Performs necessary pre-operation activities on multiple pieces of equipment to ensure proper equipment startup and operation
• Operates multiple pieces of equipment and monitors equipment during operation, performs setup and changeover, inspects parts, and adjusts or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications and to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
• Performs scheduled quality assurance tests following good manufacturing practices and communicates with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high-quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
• Performs housekeeping activities and sanitations on production equipment
• Provides training to new associates and leads peers on a production line by communicating tasks and giving instructions to ensure maximum quality and productivity
• Required to be skilled on at least 3 machine centers on the line (Blow Mold skills is a mandatory requirement of the 3 skills needed for qualification of this role).
• Must be able to operate and change over the Blow Mold maintaining safe operations while achieving and maintaining quality specifications and ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Understand the theory of operations of the Blow Mold and understand what recipes to use for each format along with how to adjust recipe as needed.
• Understand the theory of operations of all support equipment to the Blow Mold.
• May be require to operate any equipment on the line including Palletizing machines (more than 2 machines) to maintain factory efficiency, changeover the machine to different SKU and package sizes
• May be required to operate a Stretch Wrap machine and operate the computerized Pallet Tag machine
• Unload product from the Palletizing machines, or loading the product directly into trailers using Radio Frequency (RF) Tablet
• Scan the product while safely stacking product in the Warehouse bin locations

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Technical, mechanical aptitude for initial basic troubleshooting
• Proficient in SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lead peers and desire to take on greater levels of leadership responsibility in the future
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs., stand on feet for prolonged periods of time and climb stairs as needed
• Weekend work will be required, including some holidays as scheduled to support customer demand
• Equipment noise is elevated requiring the use of hearing protection
• Seasonal temperatures can be expected
