Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking a hands-on maintenance specialist to support the blow molding operations. You will assist in setup, profiling and start‑up of new and existing bottles, troubleshoot profile issues, and help develop operator profiling skills.

You will review SPC data with quality and ensure BICs are current, while maintaining change parts and tooling. The role requires 2–5 years in blow molding (PET preferred), strong mechanical knowledge, and flexibility to work varied shifts

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in blow molding; preferably processing PET materials.
• Strong machine/mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret quality specifications and control methods.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including call-ins and weekends to support changeovers and start-ups.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, profiling and start-up of new and existing bottles.
• Troubleshoot profile-related bottle problems and optimize molding performance.
• Develop and maintain operator profiling skills and problem-solving techniques.
• Review and utilize SPC data with quality to drive process improvements.
• Lead 5S and maintain organized tooling, molds and change parts; ensure BICs are current.
