Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a Specialty Product Services Specialist to join our Gainesville, FL team. You will manage storage, inventory, preparation, documentation, and shipment of blood components in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

You will ensure accuracy and safety, maintain SOPs, support internal and external customers, and help safeguard confidentiality of health information while coordinating shipping and receiving schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with inventory management in a healthcare or lab setting preferred.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations (HIPAA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks timely, accurately, and in compliance with SOPs and PPE policies.
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and materials.
• Provide high-level customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist with resolving customer complaints.
• Comply with federal and state privacy laws regarding health information.
