Job summary

ConnectLife in Williamsville, NY is seeking a Blood Lab Technician for full-time day shift. You will receive, triage, and process blood products, manufacture components, and help with distribution and data entry in the laboratory system.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 6 months experience in healthcare/laboratory/manufacturing, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. We offer health and dental insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Degree in biological/clinical science preferred.
• 6 months experience in healthcare/laboratory/manufacturing required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, triage, and process incoming blood products.
• Manufacture components from donor blood and manage related lab procedures.
• Ensure proper storage temperatures and timely processing of products.
• Perform daily quality control of lab equipment and QC of products.
• Prepare samples for shipment and coordinate testing requirements.
• Document and track disposition of all components in SOPs and the lab system.
