Job summary

The Component Manufacturing Technician I at Central California Blood Center plays a critical role in transforming donated blood into safe, lifesaving components. You will process, separate, prepare, and label products while following quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

This on-site role requires attention to detail, strong documentation, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Compensation is $18/hour with full-time benefits; schedule includes Tue–Thu 2:00–10:30 pm and Fri–Sat

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required
• Attention to detail and maintaining quality outcomes

Responsibilities

• Component preparation and processing with cGMP
• Boxing plasma and other components for fractionator
• Manufacturing pooled cryo
• Troubleshoot processing equipment and update SOPs
• Adhere to company values and maintain ethical workplace culture
• Take compliant meal and rest periods per California law
• Maintain consistent attendance and follow SOPs, safety guidelines
• Participate in required training and competency assessments
