Job summary

ImpactLife in Davenport, IA seeks an Entry Level Component Manufacturing Tech for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri and every other Sat, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM) with potential first-shift training. No prior experience required; extensive on-the-job paid training is provided.

You will support blood product processing, labeling and inventory tasks in a safety-conscious environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, willingness to learn SOPs, and pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalents.
• Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production or manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow set Standard Operating Procedures.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture blood components, including handling, quarantine and discarding as required.
• Prepare and label components and assist with inventory counts/maintenance.
• Work with biohazardous/chemical waste and ensure safety and compliance.
• Training provided through extensive on-the-job program; no prior experience required.
