Job summary

The American Red Cross in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a team member to support the blood collections operation by acquiring, distributing and maintaining supplies and equipment, and by handling delivery to internal and external customers.

You'll work a variable schedule to meet donors and community needs, with early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $21.31 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and verbal communication skills required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record required.
• Ability to carry moderate weight and lift up to 75 pounds; able to reach, bend, kneel, climb, push and pull.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxes, labels and canteen supplies; prepare kits.
• Take inventory and order supplies from the warehouse and fill requisitions.
• Interact with internal and external customers in a positive, proactive manner.
• May drive blood collection vehicles to load and unload supplies and equipment as needed.
