Blood Collection Staff – Customer Service

Job Overview

Utilize your healthcare and customer service skills to assist with blood collection, including transporting and setting up equipment, creating a welcoming environment for donors, and following safety procedures. Paid phlebotomy training is provided to develop your healthcare skills within a leading humanitarian organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect personally with donors, explaining the impact of their donation.
• Work with teammates to ensure a friendly environment.
• Maintain attention to detail for safety and regulatory compliance.
• May operate vehicles and set up/tear down equipment at donation sites; minimum height requirement of 60 inches.

Schedule & Compensation

Variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedule provided 2-3 weeks in advance. Starting pay is $18.50/hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience and effective communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods; minimum height of 60 inches
• Basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT)
• Leadership experience
