Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience with 0-2+ years performing venipunctures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to draw blood from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain records.
• Update patient information and store specimens according to procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes to patients.
• Match requisition forms with specimen tubes and label them as required.
• Package and store specimens correctly for transport.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results to satisfy queries.
