Job summary

Paid phlebotomy training is provided to grow healthcare skills within the organization. The position offers a flexible, variable schedule with potential travel and a starting rate of $17.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• DOT certification required; pass DOT physical and obtain medical certification.
• Physical requirements include lifting and long hours; height requirement may apply to vehicle operation.
• Basic computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Connect with donors to explain donation impact.
• Create welcoming environment for donors at collection sites.
• Ensure blood collection meets regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and set up/teardown equipment at donation sites.
