Job summary

The American Red Cross in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Blood Collection Staff - Customer Service to support donor care and the blood collection process. You will work with a team to transport and set up equipment, create a welcoming environment, and follow safety procedures while collecting lifesaving donations.

Paid phlebotomy training is provided, with opportunities to grow healthcare skills within a respected humanitarian organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and good verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand long hours.
• Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Connect with donors and help them understand the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Ensure blood collected meets goals, regulatory requirements, and can be transfused.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites.
