Global Roles is seeking a Blood Collection Staff member to assist in the blood collection process and donor interaction at collection sites in Wisconsin. Paid phlebotomy training is provided, supporting the American Red Cross mission to save lives through blood donation.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and accurate blood collection while coordinating with team members and ensuring a welcoming environment for donors.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes are required.
• Position may require a minimum height of 60 inches to ensure the ability to safely operate Red Cross vehicles.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications.
• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.) is preferred.
• Prior leadership experience is preferred.

• Utilize healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with every step of the blood collection process
• Collaborate with team to transport and setup equipment at collection sites in local communities
• Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for volunteer donors
• Follow all safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations
• Take time to personally connect with donors and help them understand the impact of their donation
• Be detail oriented to ensure blood collected meets goals and regulatory requirements
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and work with team to setup and tear down equipment at donation sites
