Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Zanesville, OH is looking for a Medical Technologist specializing in Blood Bank. The successful candidate will work in a high-volume laboratory conducting over 6,000 tests daily, performing critical tasks like Type & Crossmatch and complex antibody panels. With a focus on transfusion and hematology, candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and necessary certifications. This position requires weekend and holiday rotations, with morning and afternoon shifts available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience is required.
• MT/MLT with Blood Bank experience is mandatory.
• Certifications accepted: ASCP, AMT, HEW, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform Type & Crossmatch and complex antibody panels.
• Conduct antigen testing, DAT, fetal screens, and evaluations.
• Support holiday coverage and weekend rotations as needed.
