Qualifications

• Must have stable work history and a Bachelor's Degree.
• Certification in Medical Technology preferred; MLT accepted with experience.
• SBB/BB or blood bank experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform transfusion service consultation and antibody identification with compatible units.
• Assist in preparation of all components, including special components.
• Organize, label blood and components with complete accuracy.
• Perform basic laboratory computer functions.
• Investigate and resolve product quality issues.
• Ensure documentation for batch release, quarantine, and destruction of components.
• Maintain compliance with testing, quality control, and maintenance procedures.
